Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State All-time Head-to-Head Regular Season Game Log

JLin vs GSW Background and News:
To get an idea of how JLin has played against GSW in the past. You can find the JLin Articles and Facts Game Threads with box score, highlights and comments from 2013-14 the Rocket vs GSW here in the Archived Games:

Dec 6, 2013  DNP
JLin Did not play Dec 6th he was out with a sprained knee. He was injured Nov 27 2013 vs ATL  in the game and only played 4 minutes.
Dec 13, 2013  8pts| 2ast| 4TO
JLin's first game back from the knee injury was Dec 12th 2013 vs POR  he played 15 mins. He then played the Dec 13th game vs GSW for 21 mins but was then out the next 4 games ( until Dec 23rd vs Mavs) with a back injury

Feb,20 2014  9pts| 4ast| 5reb| 2TO
Jlin played pretty well in this game.  This is the game where a fan yelled out "jeremy you should be starting" and Pbev gave the death stare.  This is also that game where Asik had to hold Pbev back from retaliating against fans.  (video at game thread link above.)  Beautiful acrobatic shot at 1:20 in Blaiyan's video highlights as well.

JLin vs GSW Expectations:
It is a bit difficult to judge how Jlin will perform based on last year's games so we can turn to Basketball Reference the splits for Golden State are:

7 games  @189 minutes 46.2fg% | 47.8% 3fg% |ORtg 121 | DRtg 111
average per game 13.3 pts| 4.7ast| 27 mins playing

JLin's Interview with LakersNation post game vs DEN 6 OCT

"I just want to figure out how I can bring my strengths and apply it best to this                            system. It’s kind of like a chess match in learning and figuring it out. I think I’m more                     prepared for it just having gone through my time in Houston, and playing off the ball and learning different ways to try to be effective.”

Byron Scott commended Lin post-game for his ability to orchestrate the offense and Steve Nash said he believes Lin has the ability to have a great year. Nash pointed to Lin’s decision making ability, especially in pick and rolls and transition.

I expect to see again an emphasis on defense room the entire team.  Also the media and fans are going to be interested to see how Kobe and Nash respond to another game  Questions on their health will be a ongoing concern.

I expect to see Jlin score more this game and I predict his box score will be13 pts| 6 ast| 27 mins playing

Game Discussion

What are your predictions for Jlin and the Lakers?  Will Clarkson and the other rookies toss the nerves and make better decisions?  Will we see even better foot movement and team defensive strategies from the Lakers?

You may discuss the game either in Discus format  here or in at Jlin Articles and Facts in forum format here:
